The Art Festival at Thornebrook is a two-day festival of juried fine arts and fine crafts under the covered walkways and on the grassy areas of Thornebrook Village. There will be no more than 140 spaces available. The show operates under the 501(c) 3 status of the Gainesville Fine Arts Association. The show is listed as the finest small art show in the Southeastern United States and the premier show produced by the Gainesville Fine Arts Association.

Cost

Application fee:  $15.00 (non-refundable)

GFAA members:

  • 12 x 5 space $134.75
  • 10 x 10 space $158.00

All other applicants:

  • 12 x 5 space $148.75
  • 10 x 10 space $185.94

Call for Artisits

Applications have been mailed, if you did not get one please contact the show director or go to the website and download a copy of the application and information. Application deadline is postmarked by June 30, 2007. Only complete application packages containing the items listed on the application will be accepted. The application fee is $15.00 and the space fee for 12’x5’ is $158.00 and for 10’x10’ is $185.94, tax included.

All work to be exhibited must have been completed after January 1, 2003 and must be original or limited edition signed and numbered prints. Reproductions may only constitute 25% of the entire work exhibited by the artist

The Festival will feature two days of entertainment in three various venues throughout Thornebrook Village, children’s activities, wonderful food and non-profits scattered throughout the show.

Poster artist

The poster artist is Miriam Novack and the poster is a collage of wonderful images in a modern theme.  Novack is a painter in acrylics and an accomplished potter. The modernistic image of the poster reflects Novack’s outlook on life and her work.
